New preventive measures have been taken in Western Armenia due to the new coronavirus. Entry and exit from 30 major cities in Van province, has been completely banned.

The ban, which was announced for the first 15 days, will continue if the epidemic intensifies.

Due to the snow that started in Imranli province of Sebastia in the evening, the center of the province and the highlands were covered with a thick layer of snow.

Historic Karahan Tepe in Urfa, which belongs to the Neolithic period and is similar to Portasar, claims to be the new face of Western Armenia. There are 250 T-type stones here. Excavations that began last year have been very exciting.

Excavations were planned here during the spring, but due to weather conditions and coronavirus, the process was delayed.

An earthquake of 4.7 magnitude was recorded in Van province, Western Armenia, on April 3 at 8 am local time. The epicenter is located in Tushpa province. There were no casualties and injuries.
