The Vahagn Military-Patriotic Organization organized a memorable event near the statue of Garegin Nzhdeh.
The delegation of Western Armenia participated in the event headed by the President of the National Council Armenag Aprahamian.
Numerous young people also participated in the event, two of whom were awarded Vahagn certificates for their patriotic dedication and public activity.
One of the important episodes of the event was the transfer of the prince’s chain. This symbolic chain is given to those who, through their dedication and work, have been considered worthy of preserving and spreading Armenian values.
The joy of the young people was doubled when they also received dragon statuettes, symbolizing the power of Armenian culture and patriotism.
The event also coincided with the celebrations dedicated to the memory of Avetik Isahakyan. The 150th anniversary of the poet’s birth, the 90th anniversary of the library, and the 70th anniversary of the house-museum were celebrated, which emphasized the connection between Armenian culture and patriotism. The importance of the influence of the poet’s works and the popularization of his art was also conveyed, conveying the value of patriotism and cultural heritage to the new generation.
