The Assembly of Armenians of Western Armenia (ANACAS) and Member of Parliament of Western Armenia Mardiros Chakoyan are organizing a conference–discussion dedicated to the memory of Hrant Dink and the 106th anniversary of the independence of Western Armenia.

During the conference:

• A memorial requiem service will be held in memory of Hrant Dink;
  
• The historical process of Armenian independence in the territory of Western Armenia will be presented, starting from the 1919 Paris Peace Conference, as a continuation of the genocide committed against the Armenians;
  
• The legal obligations of Turkey, states, and international institutions toward the Armenian people and Western Armenia will be addressed;
  
• New challenges and issues facing the Armenian people in Western Armenia and Artsakh will be discussed, within the context of national reconstruction and the application of strategic, legal, and political mechanisms based on statehood.
