Dear compatriots,

Today marks a period of renewal—the New Year, which we celebrate every year in the month of March.

Therefore, I would like to wish the Armenian nation a very beautiful New Year holiday.

This is an ancient tradition that is also preserved in many countries of the Middle East, and not only for the Armenian nation; we extend our greetings of joy to them as well.

It is also an occasion for us to reunite, rediscover ourselves, and continue our most ancient traditions.

Within the continuity of this tradition, Western Armenia reaffirms its path—the continuity of our history, our values, our rights, and our unwavering will to continue to exist as Armenians of Western Armenia, on the lands of our ancestors.

While some continue to deny the sovereign rights of the Armenian nation by placing into meaningless debate the question of whether the genocide committed against Armenians is still relevant, and while other falsifiers of history attempt to present that Artsakh has always been part of Azerbaijan, Western Armenia preserves the flag of the entire nation.

The gradual fragmentation of our territories—including Nakhijevan, Artsakh, and above all Western Armenia—constitutes part of a policy of division, the final stage of which is the attempt at the complete destruction of our nation.

This is why I call upon the entire nation to reject the illusion of self-satisfaction formed around the Republic of Eastern Armenia and to become citizens of the Republic of Western Armenia.

At this moment, when international law is being violated by certain newly formed entities in modern history through the use of brute force against one of the world’s oldest civilizations—the Iranian civilization—Western Armenia reaffirms the importance of the supremacy of international law, which must be upheld under all circumstances.

Armenia also reaffirms the importance of the United Nations as a platform for multilateral negotiations.

From this perspective, Western Armenia continues its work of national reconstruction in accordance with the history, culture, and state traditions of the Armenian nation.
