The 13th regular sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Western Armenia (RAA) was held on March 26, 2025. The agenda was presented by the Speaker of the NA of the Republic of Western Armenia (RAA) Nelli Harutyunyan.

One of the most important topics of the sitting was the online meeting with the  key figures of the country, the President  of the National Council of Western Armenia (NA) Mr. Armenag Aprahamian and the President of the Republic of Western Armenia (RA) Mrs. Lydia Margossian, with the NA deputies. They presented their and answered the deputies’ questions.

Before the agenda, President Armenag Aprahamian touched upon the current problems of Artsakh and the Artsakh’s Armenians. He as well  talked on the  geopolitical developments related to Artsakh. 

Mr. President also  spoke about the New Year of indigenous Armenians    of Western Armenia, the spring equinox, which is celebrated on March 21. He  emphasized the importance of harmony with Nature and the need to return to the  roots.

Let’s remind on March 21, a delegation from the Republic of Western Armenia (RWA) visited the Garni Temple to participate in the New Year ritual, conducted according to the Armenian-Aryan calendar, which was led by qurms.

Afterwards, the  event has been discussed  dedicated to the Goddess Anahit which   was held in the hall of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Western Armenia (RWA) in Yerevan.

During the sitting,   President Armenag Aprahamian also presented the events that took place within the framework of his visit to Eastern Armenia. He  noted that high-ranking officials of the Republic of Western Armenia (RWA) and members of the delegation participated in. 

Then the sitting was joined by the President of the Republic of Western Armenia (RAW), Ms. Lydia Margossian, who welcomed the deputies and again spoke about indigenous issues and Artsakh. She emphasized the important role of the delegation of the Republic of Western Armenia (RAW) in the UN Commission on Indigenous Issues and Natural Resources.

The second  task  on the agenda   “Issues of Preservation of Armenian Cultural Sites Outside Eastern Armenia,” was discussed. A  detailed information on which the official website will be posted on
