In the Aghlat province of occupied Bagesh (Bitlis) in Western Armenia, the rise in river water levels due to melting snow and precipitation has caused an unexpected change on the shores of Lake Van.
As a result, in the areas where the river meets the lake, the color of the water has changed, which was captured by aerial photography.
Local resident Yunus Nazli noted that the color of Lake Van’s water has clearly changed and has taken on a brown hue.
This is the first time we’ve encountered such a scene. We tried to capture this scene,” he said.
