Dunkerque, France – On 14-15 June, 2025

The championship  “Championnat de France Élite Séniors 2025”,  organized by the French Weightlifting Federation. It  took place at the Stades de Flandres stadium in Dunkerque, France, bringing together the country’s best weightlifters. This year, the competition also had a jubilee content, celebrating the 100th anniversary of Roosendaal weightlifting (1925–2025).

The tournament was marked by powerful performances. One of the most important news was the brilliant victory of our compatriot, Antranig Aprahamian. Antranig Aprahamian, representing the Athlétic Club Saint Marcellin, fought in the 67 kg weight category and lifted 250 kg in total, registering brilliant results and won  the gold medal.  Thus,  reaching the top of the podium for the title of French champion. His performance was highly appreciated by both specialists and the audience.

We congratulate Antranig Aprahamian on this victory and wish him new successes in international competitions.
