On June 30, 2026, a delegation led by Johannes Volkmann, Member of the Bundestag of the Federal Republic of Germany and head of the delegation visiting Armenia, visited the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex in Yerevan.

The members of the delegation laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame commemorating the victims of the genocide committed against Armenians and honored the memory of the innocent victims with a minute of silence.

The visit once again highlights the importance of preserving historical memory, condemning crimes against humanity, and strengthening international cooperation in preventing genocides and establishing historical justice.
