On March 25, 2026, the 10th session of the National Assembly (Parliament) of the Republic of Western Armenia took place in an online format. Fifteen out of the 53 elected deputies participated. The session began at 21:30 and concluded at 23:35.
During the session, the agenda was unanimously adopted, after which several current issues were discussed. Particular attention was given to the strategy developed by Western Armenia and public responses to it on social platforms. One of the key areas of discussion was also the initiative of voluntary donations proposed by the government.
It was noted that this initiative aims to establish a unified and responsible financial foundation based on voluntary participation. It enables both citizens of Western Armenia and Armenians living in the diaspora to directly support the state-building process. The initiative is viewed not only as a tool for attracting financial resources but also as an important mechanism of national consolidation.
The session also addressed issues related to the original Armenian pre-Christian calendar. Discussions were accompanied by a reassessment of historical sources and an emphasis on the need to apply modern scientific approaches in order to more accurately reinterpret the Armenian chronological system.
At the conclusion of the session, a closing speech was delivered by National Assembly deputy Marietta Dumikyan.
