Eastern Armenia’s leading chess player, grandmaster Hayk Martirosyan became the silver medalist of the “Biel Chess Festival 2024” in an international chess tournament. The information is reported by the Chess Federation of Eastern Armenia.

Le Quang Liem, representing Vietnam, won the gold medal, and Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa, representing India, won the bronze medal. The tournament was held from July 13 to 26 in Biel, Switzerland, and  6 grandmasters participated.
