On March 18, 2026, the 9th session of the National Assembly (Parliament) of Western Armenia took place from 21:30 to 22:35. Of the 53 elected deputies, 11 participated via internet connection.

During the session, the agenda was adopted, after which the President of the Republic of Western Armenia, Armenag Aprahamian, referred to the 40–50 thousand Armenians living in Lebanon, emphasizing the need to support them regardless of external threats and internal disagreements. The President also stressed the importance and symbolism of the meeting dedicated to March 21, the Armenian New Year.

The criteria for compiling lists of intangible cultural values and the process for approving them were discussed.
